Binoculars
Binoculars are the tools or instruments used to get a visually closer view of a distance object. These are simply two telescopes mounted next to each other. These are widely used for both personal and professional purposes. The sizes and designs of binoculars depend upon its usage and properties. The quality of the binoculars is defined by the quality of the optical elements ,such as lens and prisms, of the binoculars. There are two major types of binocular according to their inner structure, prism and usage: Roof and Porro binoculars. The roof binoculars allow the straight movement of light and require more optical perfection. The major advantage of Roof binoculars is that it is very compact and easy to handle and carry. The cost of roof binoculars is usually higher as compare to Porro binoculars. Porro binoculars offer wider view and great depth of field at relatively low cost. Porro are generally used for professional reasons and due to complex designing, these are not much handily. Binoculars are mainly used for traveling, sightseeing, stadium sports watching, sky watching,wildlife watching, army purposes and other study and research purposes.
